I know what everyone thinks of NJ and their laws and how no change will ever come. If you raise your voice now and sign this petition, pass it on to the members of your pistol and rifle clubs. Don't just sit back and say, "I'm not signing this because it won't do anything." because if that's your attitude, fine, but don't let that be your action. If it is then you've got no right to complain or add your $0.02 to anything regarding NJ and their strict gun laws.

For those who are willing to take a minute out of their time to sign this petition, thank you for standing up for values, greater good and safety of NJ's people. Thank you for helping us take a stand.

My only concern with these bills (apart from the possibility of being passed) is that they explicitly exclude permanent residents (AKA Green Card holders) who are already allowed to have a FID and own firearms in NJ.

Hell even the ATF has removed the additional residency requirement paperwork burdened on permanent residents for a NICS check.
