Probably not. Term-limited already, and the EO will expire in like 22 days, probably about 40-50 days faster than an Impeachment could occur.
Which will (probably) make it a non-issues or "not worth bothering with."

That's not "Right" but the real world is a horribly pragmatic sort of place, and that can gloss over proper rectitude. Life is complicated that way.
There in lies the rub. ;)

Until we actually start holding these people to their oaths and the laws that are supposed to be laws that we are governed by, which even more so applies to them, nothing is going to change or happen. Same old, same old, and we seem to be happy just accepting that.

"Dont rock the boat and do as youre told" should be our new motto. :)

Sorry fella, but your take is extremely NY centric. It never ceases to confound me when commentary on blatant usurpation of Constitutionally articulated rights are viewed by the deep blue state denizens as 'understandable' due the perspective of the left. Sorry , but I refuse to accept that point of perspective and I hold that giving it credibility in any form is destructive to our core structure and belief system.........NY, Calif. and others of their ilk have done more than enough damage and ought not be excused in any fashion.........even inadvertently.

Frankly, it most seems that those that have grown up and live in those outliers are truly brainwashed..........they may disagree with their governments policy, but their disagreement is at best hesitant and fearful !
You misunderstood the post.

Even David Hogg is against the Governor's decree. And the Democrat AD of NM says no:

On Saturday, Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman made it clear that he will not be enforcing Grisham’s ban on concealed carry. “As an officer of the court, I cannot and will not enforce something that is clearly unconstitutional,” Bregman said Saturday.

So, will she be removed and prosecuted, and at all levels? Or is this just going to be more of the same that we've been seeing for about ever now, nationwide?

Nevermind.... :)
Nothing is going to happen. Hopefully the first judge the suite appears before will slap her down but that isn't a given considering where it may land. I see it going to the state supreme court eventually. It is just for 30 days but if you want to see what this woman is capable of just look up her history of dealing with COVID.
Here's what AZ Dems think about this situation!

So? AZ is quickly becoming Kali-East and NM Kali-Far East. At the moment I see NM being worse than AZ. Luhan Grisham Is widely referred to in parts of the state as Lujan Hitler.

County District Attorney, Albuquerque Mayor, and Police Chief say they will not enforce the order as it is unconstitutional.

Expected lawsuits are already filed to stop the order.

I hope the Governor is personally named in each lawsuit since these officials have gone on record as saying they will not enforce a clearly unconstitutional order.

Sam Bregman is only a county DA and can only not prosecute in Bernallio County and has nothing to do with the state. Raul Torres is the state''s attorney general and will do whatever Luhan Grisham tells him to. He is the former DA of Bernillo County and crime rose greatly under his tenure. He stated early on after becoming AG that he was going to concentrate on crimes against children. I thinks he concentrates on propping his heels on his desk unless he pronounces something the Democrats do is perfectly OK.

It seems that New Mexico passed a law in 2021 (HB4) called the New Mexico Civil Rights Act. https://www.nmlegis.gov/Legislation/Legislation?Chamber=H&LegType=B&LegNo=4&year=21

House Bill 4 (HB 4) creates the “New Mexico Civil Rights Act.” The Act gives a person who claims deprivation of “rights, privileges or immunities” secured by the New Mexico Constitution the right to bring a lawsuit in state district court and recover actual damages and injunctive relief. In addition to actual damages, the Act provides that a person who prevails in a lawsuit brought under the Act is entitled to an award of reasonable attorney fees and litigation expenses. The Act prohibits a public body, or those acting on the public body’s behalf who are sued under the Act from using “qualified immunity” as a defense.

It looks like all those effected by this in Albuquerque and Bernallio County need to sue the governor. Use the Dem's law they passed against them.

Sorry fella - how cute. You totally misunderstood what I said. I was commenting on process and how things work. Has nothing to do with deep blue states. Understandable didn't mean it was correct or excusable. Try again. One problem with folks is that they think absolutely as if the BOR are laws of physics and not social constructions. Get it now, fella?

LOL. Hat tip to NM. smh

While I wish our government(s) would just respect the Constitution (Is that really so much to ask?) I'm not so secretly hoping that they will somehow, eventually, go too far and bring about a Supreme Court case that finally brings down the house. Something that will restore the 2nd Amendment even more clearly and thoroughly than Bruen. Is that too much to hope for?

They are just governors. They are not rocket scientists. And they are out of control. We have federal and constitutional laws to keep this in check but there's no one watching the store.

I agree, 100%.

However, the problem arises when those whom we place into positions of power under those very constitutions you speak of have it in their minds that they are not bound by the very constitutions through which they have been granted those powers.

"No constitutional right, in my view, including my oath, is intended to be absolute," she retorted.

Such words are not the words of a politician elected by the people and for the people. They are, in fact, the words of tyranny.

In the words of Lincoln, our government is of the people, by the people, and for the people. "We the people of the United States..." and "We, the people of New Mexico..." are words that have real meaning. If they are not to have real meaning to those whom "we the people" elect, then they should be removed from office.

I love this idea! Can we start a campaign or something?

I've got a much better idea than this.

We should go the route Terry Pratchett used in one of his Discworld books, The Last Continent:

"We put all our politicians in prison as soon as they're elected. Don't you?"

"Why?"

"It saves time."

The fact that the "order" expires in 30 days should be meaningless when in court, as it did happen and was illegal, same as saying, "well, I murdered that person yesterday, so I shouldn't be held accountable today!" Unfortunately, as posted, I am dreaming out loud - nobody will hold her or her ilk accountable, and other blue Democrats will follow suit.

Very interesting introduction:
"AN ACT RELATING TO CIVIL RIGHTS; ENACTING THE NEW MEXICO CIVIL RIGHTS ACT; PERMITTING AN INDIVIDUAL TO BRING A CLAIM AGAINST A PUBLIC BODY OR PERSON ACTING ON BEHALF OF OR UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF A PUBLIC BODY FOR A VIOLATION OF THE INDIVIDUAL'S RIGHTS, PRIVILEGES OR IMMUNITIES ARISING PURSUANT TO THE BILL OF RIGHTS OF THE CONSTITUTION OF NEW MEXICO; PROHIBITING THE USE OF THE DEFENSE OF QUALIFIED IMMUNITY; PERMITTING ATTORNEY FEES; LIMITING RECOVERY; PROVIDING A THREE-YEAR STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS."

If only someone would bring a suit under this statute....
I would find it very amusing to see it wind its way through the court system only to be declared unconstitutional by some court.
Still, I would bring the popcorn! 😁

The head of the state police said he wouldn't enforce it. The head of the regular police said he didn't know what to do.

Said there's to many legal issues and didn't want the trouble this could bring.

This could bring a lawsuit if someone gets attacked and can't defend themselves. Typical Democrats, disarm the wrong people, for the children!
It’s not about disarming the wrong people, it’s about controlling the citizens. These are not stupid people. They have access to the same information and facts as we do. They choose the narrative that suits their agenda.
