A Quote From eBay Announcing Their Ban On Gun Parts

:fire: This is a quote from the eBay announcement that they are banning certain gun parts.

=======================================================
"... some items purchased on eBay may have been used in the tragedy at Virginia Tech"
=======================================================

Does anyone know if that VT nut actually bought anything on eBay, and what it was that he bought?

Obviously he didn't buy a gun on eBay, so what did he buy? A holster? A bicycle? A textbook?

I'd love to know if it really was an actual sale, or if eBay is just using the VT murders as an excuse for this ridiculous attempt at political correctness.

Sorry you took this a personal slam but I am just fed up with the sites above.

As for other sites, Aims Surplus comes to mind as being an honest well run, fair priced source.

Parts and ammo:
www.natchez.com
www.numrich.com or e-gunparts whatever they call themselves now.
www.sportsmansguide.com
www.cheaperthandirt.com
www.dansammo.com - Dan is local to me so :neener:

Wait for the next gun show to come around, visit a local shop. My point is shop around and know what you are doing before you impulse buy something. These guys will eventually have to pay their bills and thusly lower their prices to something sensible or go bankrupt.

I go to many local auctions and watch people spend more than twice of what a gun is worth. They have no idea what they are buying but because it's a firearm, it must be worth something.

Last fall in particular I went to one. Some guy bid a plain ordinary nothing special about it Winchester Model 94 up to $1300.00. :banghead: I was glad that I bought mine a couple months before Winchester stopped production for bargain at $200.
