Am I the only one who thinks this is a bunch of crap? This was about the only outlet to be able to buy and sell guns on the internet without the price gougers on gunsamerica and gunbroker.
It must be a Southeastern thing. It is an open forum meaning Local Sales Network similar to Craigslist where guns could be bought and sold openly in a person to person capacity. You can search for items within a certain radius of your area code. It appears that Google put some pressure on them and now guns are no longer available.
It's called "advertising $'s" ... you know, that stuff that keeps "free" services like LSN running. LSN couldn't operate with out the Google $'s, so the firearms related stuff bit the dust.
I understand I can no longer use LSN for the sale of guns, rifles, firearms, or ammo.
LSN owners are NOT anti-gun, so we have created http://www.gunownersclub.com for our valued gun enthusiasts!
Guess it's time to close my two Goggle Check Out accounts.
Most folks use our merchant account anyway,
when buying from us, so no big deal there.
Oh yea might as well stop my PPC ads with Google too.
I hardly ever feed Google PPC ad money anyway as
we are on page one of Google for our internet biz for FREE.
Man every time I turn around there's more anti American (anti gun) BS everywhere.
Not unless there's some new info out there. This topic was discussed a few days ago, and the suggestion was made that Google had something to do with it. However, LSN attributed it to their agreements with their banner advertisers, and not to anything relating to Google.
