non-Lee pistol dies in 4-hole classic turret??

is there a problem using 38/357 herters dies in a subject press? the herters dies are standard. i plan to use the Lee pro auto disk powder measure and the lee safety prime system. or do i need to buy the Lee deluxe 4 die pistol set??

They'll (the dies) sure work but you might need different lock rings for them to fit the array.

Unless you have hex-lock rings that get in the way, there should be no problems.

All my Herters dies had very simliar size round lock rings just about the same size a Lee.
So I'm gonna go with no problem.

The Autodisk is the only thing that could cause a problem. You need a Lee Powder Through Expanding Die to use that. It can be bought separately, though, no need to replace everything.

Yeah, Lee the powder-through expanding die is a must if you want to use the auto-disk to charge on the press. Everything else should work fine.
