Non-Resident concealed carry permits?

Anyone familiar with this?

Being a resident of the peoples republic of New Jersey, I'm am very close to PA and travel there often. This seems like an interesting option if it does in fact allow me to carry in 29 states. Thanks in advance.

I have my Florida non resident permit

I have my Florida non resident permit and i took the class at personal defense solutions with Dr. Bruce Eimer. I live in NJ.
I went to Pennsylvania today to run some errands and i carried all day. It feels so good when you cross the bridge to freedom to be able to carry.
Basically his class goes over safety and talks a little about personal defense. Then you do some live firing and he will give you a certificate that says you have satisfied the requirements to carry in the state Florida.
After that they will take your picture and notorize a document for you. You mail the package to Florida dept of agriculture and... Walla... your permit will be mailed to you in 3 months.
i would say....take the class and also get the Virginia ccw permit as well.

PW - How to be licensed to Carry a Concealed Weapon or Firearm
DF - Questions and Answers Pertaining to the Use of Deadly Force

We offer the Utah non resident permit class. It gets you more states than Florida and its cheaper!

Its one of our most popular classes.

PA doesn't issue a CCW license, the issue a LTCF "License To Carry Firearms".

Sounds good to me. You think four years or Marine Corps Infantry and three years as an Armorer in the National Guard count? Haha.

How long?

Well, I mailed my application in mid October. For those who already went through the process, how long did it take before they cashed your check? Mine has not been cashed yet and I'm starting to worry if my application arrived safely.

Watch the military service part. They MAY allow prior service in lieu of training. They are not REQUIRED to. (If I were the instructor, I wouldn't. I've known too many servicemen.)

Update:

I mailed my application on 10/23 and they cashed my check on 11/17. According to their website they can take up to 30 days to get your app into the system, so it looks like they are running on schedule.
