Non-smelly (c)LP to protect against rust?

My CLP of choice is Weapon Shield but it has a strong, albeit pleasant odor. It's that time of the year where I want to pull all my safe queens out and give them a protective coating on the metal parts against rust, and I'd rather not have my entire safe smell like cinnamon.

So I need something that's a good LP, but doesn't necessarily need to be a C. Primary concern is it doesn't have a strong odor so Breakfree is out. Remoil is my first thought, but it evaporates over time. Bonus points if it can get on a wood stock without damaging it.

Recommendations?

R.I.G. grease works pretty well at being a protectant applied with a RIG Rag. (Sheepskin)
Not smelly. Has some lube qualities.

If you’re going to handle your firearms much, Renaissance Wax, or even Johnson’s Paste wax would be a good protectant (but not a lube).

As the saying goes— many ways to skin a cat!

FrogLube is low-MW fractionated coconut oil, with very little odor to speak of.

Most synthetic oils will have little to no odor, frequently perfumed with a slight citrus smell.

As usual, I find a valid answer right after posting a question. It seems Slip 2000 EWL is a good choice so I'm going with that.
I'm a big SLIP 2000 fan.

While most on gun forums show a preference for the EWL, for your use the regular SLIP 2000 will probably work as well and save you a few bucks per bottle. The EWL was designed for machine guns. For handguns and for your intended use, the regular SLIP 2000 is probably all you need.

Seal 1 CLP is all I use, it truly performs like a dedicated cleaner, lubricant, and protective all in one! It's also non-toxic, and doesn't have a strong or bad smell (the subtle orange smell it does have is actually pretty good). It's absolutely amazing stuff, I have no idea why it hasn't taken off in the gun community. Even on this forum, I seem to be the only person who uses it.

I believe Seal 1 is the old FrogLube, based on my cursory research.
I don't think it's exactly the same... seems reviews say Seal1 is a bit more slick. Also, I read Froglube gums up over time... not sure if that's true or not, as I've never tried Froglube... but some of my guns that rarely get shot that have been coated with the same Seal1 for over a year in the safe are still slick and protected.

So, it doesn't evaporate or gum up over time. Also, I forgot to mention in my original comment but it's safe on wood and wood finishes!

I love the smell of Break Free clp and their powder blaster smells and works well to...

For rust protection I use RIG grease. Very little if any smell and does a great job as giving the wood and metal of a firearm protection. I use Breakfree for most of my cleaning.

I use WD40 corrosion inhibitor.

Once got a short notice deployment so sprayed all my guns down with it and threw them in an unairconditioned storage locker for something like 8 months. Some were wrapped in moving blankets.

0 rust anywhere on the firearms and the stuff was still coated over everything. It hadn’t evaporated or migrated away.

Really good stuff. It's in the study @hso linked to.
From the extensive corrosion test @hso linked, WD-40 Specialist Long-Lasting Corrosion Inhibitor was one of two winners (The other was Froglube, which was chemically analyzed to be coconut oil based) that did not exhibit rust.

WD-40 Specialist Long-Lasting Corrosion Inhibitor carries 1 year certification against rust (It's marked on the can). I live at the coast close enough to the beach that salt water mist rust everything, including stainless steel gun parts of various brands and only thing that has prevented rust long-term has been WD-40 Specialist. (WD-40 Specialist comes in several versions so make sure you get the can that says "Long-Lasting Corrosion Inhibitor" with 1 year certification on the can)

Now after I clean gun parts with Hoppes #9 solvent and wiped, everything that could rust gets sprayed/soaked with WD-40 Specialist then later gets lubed with motor oil. BTW, no offensive odor with WD-40 Specialist. And I no longer have rust issues in the presence of salt water mist.

I also spray garden/automotive tools with WD-40 Specialist after use (I use regular WD-40 to clean and wipe dry with paper towel) and even when kept outdoors, rusting issue has significantly decreased. For really rough/abrasive use items that could rust like riding mower deck and welded trailer built with expanded metal, surface rust is converted with Rust-Oleum Reformer and sprayed with Rust-Oleum bedliner spray paint and touched up when necessary. And yes, no more rust, even at salt water mist coast.
