Now seriously......what is the best defensive round to carry.....I think .45 is tooo slow. :neener:
 
Without question the best SDF round is...

...the biggest caliber fastest velocity delivers the most energy to the target round in the smallest,lightest handgun you WILL carry 24/7,can easily conceal,WILL practice regularly with & can shoot consistant 4"or less groups with one-handed at 3 yards.

Auggie, welcome to THR, I'll overlook the "clips" because I don't nit pick but the statement "The .45 is to slow" is a gaffe that cannot be ignored. I can see there's going to be a learning curve for you here.:scrutiny:

Pfft. Those are perfectly good reasons to buy a gun.

Of course, that assumes you already own another firearm or two which meets the other criteria you mentioned...

Some of these rules need reviewing.

I propose we amend the rules to allow sporterizing of milsurps as long as your name is not Bubba, and revise the appropriate usage of the word clip to include strippers (the metal ones, not the ones with tassles and dollar bills hanging off of them). :D

On second thought, it could save some fighting if we could tell our wives we were going out to look at clips...
