Norinco 1887 lever 12 ga

Has anyone had any experience with the Norinco copy of the winchester lever action 12ga shotgun? I'm considering one for cowboy action shoots.

I had one ordered but Customs in this country is being a bit of a pain re the "safety".
I have seen a few used tho and the opinions of the owners is generally favourable, apparently some PMC ammo has ejection problems (that might be an individual gun however)
I have also seen one used on a "farmgun" sporting clay layout and it performed very well- I think the owner used a heavy Winchester load (can't remember the details) for a satisfying boom.
Generally I am impressed- the only reason I don't have one is because they take so long to order down here.
