Mon Feb 24,10:59 PM ET Add World - Reuters to My Yahoo!

TOKYO (Reuters) - North Korea is likely to fire another missile on Wednesday after launching at least one short-range missile into the Sea of Japan earlier this week, Kyodo news agency quoted Japanese government officials as saying on Tuesday.

The officials received the information from unspecified sources and also said that North Korea had launched two Chinese-made missiles on Monday, Kyodo reported.

The first launch was unsuccessful, while the second landed in the Sea of Japan after traveling 37.5 miles, Kyodo said.

Japanese officials contacted by Reuters said they were not able to confirm the report.

The State Department confirmed on Monday that North Korea fired an anti-ship cruise missile into the Sea of Japan in what was believed to be part of a military training exercise.

N.Korea Says U.S. Plane Intruded Into North Airspace
17 minutes ago Add Top Stories - Reuters to My Yahoo!

SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea said Tuesday a U.S. strategic reconnaissance aircraft had intruded into its airspace Monday and on three consecutive other days to spy on the country ahead of a possible attack.

The North's official KCNA news agency said the RC-135 aircraft was supported by a KC-135 refueling tanker plane on its missions up and down the east coast of the Korean peninsula inside North Korean airspace.

"The U.S. imperialist warhawks illegally intruded RC-135 strategic reconnaissance plane into the territorial air of the DPRK to spy on it," KCNA said. DPRK is the acronym for the North's official title, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Seems North Korea is screamin' for attention.

How much you wanna bet Dubya has told them very quietly that if they sell a nuke to Osama Yo Mama or SoDamn Insane or somebody else likely to sneak one into the US, we're gonna carpet-bomb 'em into submission once and for all?

That's the real threat. NK needs the money, $50mil or so per banger would be a hell of a temptation.
