Norwegian Glock magazines

Has anyone seen any of the ex-military Glock magazines from Norway now on the market? I wondered what general condition they are in. What would make a military force get rid of magazines that would not be a problem for me, the future user?

Hi Benton

As a norwegian ex military, I can tell you that a lot of those glocks get a lot of hard use. However, the medics carry them as their only sidearm, and I imagine they don't abuse their glock's as some other units do... inspect them yourself if you can,obviously, but I wouldn't expect to much.. (unqualified guess)
They probably won't sell off good mags.... but glocks are very durable pistols, so I imagine they will still feed, allthough not "good mags" anymore.

I'm not sure if it is worthwhile to buy a Norwegian used magazine over a regular used magazine. But it doesn't say if the Norway mag is used or not.

Either way, I have seen NDF 9mm mags for $55 at Ivanhoe's website.

I have a friend who is a gun technic in the Norwegian army.

When something is wrong with a glock, doesn't feed etc. they change the magazines!
No changing mag springs, no changing followers, they just dump the old mags.

So if you get a good or a bad one is impossible to say.
As long as the body is undamaged, it should be able to repair.

Somebody over on GT posted that the Norwegian magazines were only lined on two sides, and that the lining only went down to the mag release groove. If that's the case, I'd pass on them.
