Nosler .223 77gr & 80gr

Has anyone tried the Nosler .223 77gr & 80gr? How do they compare to the Sierra equivalent or Hornady A-Max?

i don't think that nosler makes 77 or 80 gr bullets. i believe that you mean sierra. them, berger, and hornaday (i think) are the only ones that make heavy bullets for .223's.

I have not tried Nosler 22 caliber 77 gr. or 80 gr. but they do make them.

You're talking about the J4's. I don't know of anyone using them. The J4 jacket is considerably thinner than that of the Sierra jackets, and will be more tempermental when jumped. Therefore, everyone stuck with the Sierra since the price wasn't different for .223.
