Not one but two Kel Tec P-32's! (Range Report Added!)
Went out today and bought not one but two Kel Tec P-32's!
Range Report Added!
Man, 32 ACP ammo is not cheap; guess I’m spoiled by the price of WWB 9mm.
Anyway, last night I dutifully took each gun down separately and thoroughly cleaned and carefully inspected them both. Following some initial cleaning instructions I found over at Kel Tec Owners Group I prepared them both for their day at the range.
Purchased two boxes of Winchester 32 auto 71 grain FMJ and off to the range.
I decided to limit my shooting to 7 yards at a human silhouette.
50 rounds thru each gun mostly slow fire to determine accuracy, then about two mags each rapid fire to see the results.
The guns are not painful to shoot, recoil is snappy for the light mouse guns. I guess the way to describe shooting them is fatiguing. I found myself toying with my grip on the gun a lot because of “the pinky hang factor”.
I was able to keep my groups around double fist size with only a flyer or four.
The guns were functionally good, no jams, and no FTE or FTF problems whatsoever.
I tested all mags for function and reliability all checked out 100% so far.
All in all I am pleased with my pocket guns, so I’m now at home completing post range cleaning and inspecting.
I hope my confidence continues to build in these little guys as I shoot them more over time.
