Ive been loading Lead bullets for my 9mm for a while now, and havent had this happen before. Im not sure what caused it, or if its even bad, but i havent experienced it so i figured i'd ask.

The blue lube from the lead bullet was implanted in my target after shooting a few rounds. There were little pieces scattered all around the bullet holes. The accuracy was awesome from these rounds so im hoping its not a big issue. I only shot 25 rounds, but there was no leading in the barrel at all. Bullets were 115gr LRN over 5.4 gr of Power Pistol. I had read something before saying not to use Power Pistol with lead, but just recently came across people saying it was a myth about the combo being bad. Any insight? Thanks!

Late note. Figured id add that normally i load with green or red dot for 9mm. and these were the first Power pistol i tried.

It is fairly normal to see lube on a target. All it means is the bullet did not use all the lube as it traveled down the barrel and it is still spinning off the bullets as it is going down range. This is probably a hard lube, and if it is working with your gun keep on shooting and having fun.

I personally wouldn't worry about it, if it's accurate and not leading, keep shooting!

It's normal, especially if shooting up close to the target. As long as the bullet is flying true there isn't a problem.

Hope this helps.

Groups are awesome! put about 7-8 of them in a 1/2 inch hole at 7 yards and the others were all within about an inch of that... Shooting offhand i might add...
