BRAND NEW, Green River Rifle Works Collectors Association, Full stock Hawken Rifle in .54 caliber. Doc White Build

Barrel is 36", LOP is 14", Weight is right about 9 lbs 2 oz.. give or take doing it on bathroom scale. Maybe more like 8 lbs 2 oz. Colerain rifle barrel . Maple stock finished with aquafortis.
Lots of curl in the maple, just really hard to see in the pictures because of how dark the stock is and how the lighting catches in the camera.

Asking $2,000 Shipped.

Actually, I made a mistake (don't tell my wife) The Rocky Mountain Hawken on the Muzzle Loader forum is for TRADE, not for sale. Another good place to look for a used Hawken is Track of the Wolf.

Picked up this 50 cal Flintlock Pistol over the summer. Finally shot it for the 1st time a few weeks ago. I had previously bought some quality French flints for it. Didn't have the correct size ball but had a blast using .454 diameter ball with a cotton patch in it.

I used lubed the patches with bore butter, which when fired smoldered in my backyard. Fired about 60rds through it over the course of an hour or 2. Didn't hit anything with it but sure had fun.

Ahh! Nothing like the smell of sulfur in the morning! And ya didn't even have to reset targets.
