ok, we've seen all your guns (and most of your faces)

now lets see what you can do with them (the guns)

take the weapon you shoot with best, or better yet your carry weapon if you carry

shoot a bunch of the correct size/style target for your caliber etc., whatever you want just so they are legal targets

post the best one here,

or if you have a good one handy, post that if you want.

i wont bore you with anymore of mine...

let yer shootin' do yer talkin' for a change.

sorry, no prize:what:

Three three shot groups at 200 yards from my 700 Police using Black Hills 75 Gr BTHP ammo. Groups were fired off a bipod rest which was in turn resting on my old 1980 Monte Carlo. I think I shot about 40 groups that day trying to get five on one target that were roughly this size. I was unsuccessful. Only these three groups are worthy of posting. Far left group looks close to .5 MOA to me. Right group is right at about one MOA.

Going back a bit farther, this is the very first target I ever shot at 100 yards with one of my own rifles. It was with an H&R Ultra Varmint .223 heavy barrel shooting some Coyote brand ammo. This was the initial shooting at 100 yards after being bore-sighted. Far right shot was the first, the remainder were walking it over. The upper left shot was my fault.

And here's 50 rounds of CCI 22 Maxi Mags through my 882SSV rifle at 100 yards. The wind was blowing quite a bit this day. Seemed to affect this target more than the 223 target.

No digicam, shot tonight with G34 on NRA B-8 25yd pistol bull at 25 yds. First set of the evening was 25 shots for a score of 223-4x. After doing some other dinking around to include the typical IPSC goon fast and fancy and shooting my Nagant I shot one more set, this time 15 rounds of EFMJ +p I was getting rid of, 10 rounds of magtech range junk. The EMFJ is ok accurate, flies a little higher as can be expected. 224-5x. At least I'm consistent.

Not even sure where most of my target pics are!! I usually scan a target but often save to stupid places.!!

Did find this one tho from a while back ..... it was with my Win 94 in .357 ... homeloads .... 158 Lyman gas check SWC in front of 14 grns Vit N 110 ...... a load i like.

Considering the short barrel .... I thought it was quite acceptable really for 100 yds ... coupla ''fliers'' ..... mostly my fault ..... it is scoped tho so quite easy to get on target.

(edited cos first server was not showing pic)

This is the only one I have a pic of. Maybe there's a reason for that?

This target was blasted from about 15 yards with my P22, after it became reliable. This target was the victim of more than 200 rounds of .22. Most of the outlying shots were fired DA. I just can't seem to get used to first shot DA no matter what I try. Well, at least they all hit the target.

100 rounds out of a box stock 223 Rem 700 VSLH. Shot while BSing with some buddies, so some of the five shot 100 yd groups aren't as tight as they should be. No bore cleaning during the session.

Group with lower POI is 10 rounds testing a different load.

I don't have any pictures... and since there are NO ranges anywhere near me, currently my "target" are trees at my in-law's farm. *sigh*

according to the statee that signed my CCL,,,

only about 4% of the general population is at all familiar with any form of firearm, and then only 3% of THOSE 4% can shoot with consistent accuracy.

so for 10,000 peeps only about 400 have firearms experience and of those only about 12 can hit the bull most of the time.

i just want to be sure all you excellent shots understand what rare individuals you are...

so far the numbers seem to be holding up

:)
