Nicholas Lebel: Mike, It is the Brady Campaign that defined the AR-15 as an assault weapon. I like your question, "So other than just looks, what makes it an assault weapon?" Maybe you should tell us?

Mike Summitt: I was asking - I don't know. It doesn't seem to relate to caliber or muzzle velocity, both are higher in other weapons. It's not fire rate, they aren't full automatic. I haven't seen a definition anywhere.

Nicholas Lebel: I don't know either, Mike. But the Brady Campaign says it is an assault rifle, isn't that good enough?
