I sort of listen to NPR, their human interest pieces are always good. They find and interview some interesting people from all over the country, you never quite know where they are going with some of the stories. And their music and entertainment reporting is EXCELLENT.
BTW, always listen to NPR on April Fools Day. They pull some doozies, once they had the US government selling North Dakota to Canada. They had dozens of sound bites from various government officials on both sides of the border, a couple of "reaction from the people in the streets" pieces, and an op-ed from George Will. Truly classic, and I wish I had a recording of it.
