NRA Annual Meeting Exhibit Questions

I'm planning on going to this in April since it's within driving distance. Can someone tell me in the exhibit hall is it just merchandise on display or can you actually purchase items? Obviously I know I'm not going to purchase firearms, but are there vendors set up sell accessories and such?

What's anyone's feedback about the exhibits here? How does it compare to SHOT (never been to SHOT, but just curious).

NRA Show 2012

When I went to the show in St. Louis back in 2007, many of the vendors did have products for sale. Remember the "Woodsman's Pal" hook-topped machete?
Many of the hunting lodges had agents there that could help you arrange and book trips there at the show.
Missouri law didn't allow for firearm sales at the show nor could you carry in the convention center then. I don't know about now.
I'll be going again as I can take the light-rail system (Metro) from a station near my home and get about 1-2 blocks away from the center. Only hitch is the trains have to run through East St. Louis.

At the 2010 one in Charlotte they were selling everything but guns, and even one local dealer was taking orders for guns to be picked up from their storefront.

No selling of guns. Buy you can hold them . All kind of other items for sale . I will be their working the Bersa/American Classsic booth. Its a great way to met people and have a good time. I go back to hotel every night worn out. But back early next morning ready to go again Lots of free items also You will leave with a bag full .
Come and enjoy the show. Remember like all these shows. The price of food and drinks will almost buy you a new pistol. So don't come hungry or thirsty
Parking in St Louis not best So be ready to walk also.
