Does anyone go to the NRA annual meetings?
I'm looking forward to trolling the exhibitors and checking out the goodies.

I'll be there...signing at Outdoor Channel booth on Saturday; hanging out at the Tactical Solutions booth on Sunday. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Well, I went back when it was in Milwaukee. It was freakin' awesome! R. Lee is really cool and I got to meet and talk to Ted Nugent and his wife for about a half an hour. Absolutely great people.

The wife and I are going up on Friday AM, and staying through Sunday AM. Will THR have an official presence there? If not, do any other forum members want to schedule a meet and greet?

I attend all NRA conventions that meet within a 500 or so mile radius from my home. I've been to the last Pittsburgh meeting as well as the subsequent conventions held in Louisville and Charlotte and recommend all NRA members to attend to attend them whenever possible. Lots of good times to be had.

Concerning your question about greeting fellow THR members for dinner or whatever, I've posed this possibility in the past but have never received any interest to do so. Still seems like a good idea though. Maybe this year? :)

That would be a nice addition. We could plan to meet at a certain time at a particular manufacturer's booth...

This was my first Convention and I was impressed. I will try to make future conventions if I can.

Got there Friday. Saw Wayne Lapierre, Larry Potterfield, Ted Nugent, and Jason Altmire among the notables. Good fun ... except for traffic and parking.

The traffic and parking was a bit of an issue but I'm pretty sure it'll be like at at every event.

It was actually quicker for us to walk the 8 blocks to the hotel than to ride the shuttle.
