I was really shocked when I went out and picked up my paper today. It is wet outside so there on the plastic holder of my paper was the NRA vote Freedom First logo everywhere. Never have seen this before. I chucked all the way back to the house. Since my small town paper is owned by a larger more liberal firm I was suprised. This was in Arkansas. Anyone else with such a beautiful find the morning?

A couple of days ago, my Knight-Ridder owned Charlotte Observer came wrapped in such an NRA pitch for Burr.

I was a little surprised, and pleased to see my dues being used wisely here.

My Dad's Albuquerque Journal came in one the other day. It also included a message to support Rep. Heather Wilson in her re-election bid.

The Charlotte Observer is one of the great, screaming consistently leftist organs in the southeast.

I kid you not, the CLT Observer was so concerned the plastic baggie would be construed as an endorcement that it placed an article in the paper explaining it did not endorce Burr and that the NRA logo was a paid advertisement.

The Rocky Mountain News came in one yesterday, and the Denver Post today. 'Vote Freedom First - Pete Coors'.
Unfortunately, it seems Pete lost.
