NRA renewal going up?

I understand the push to have people upgrade or renew before the end of the year due to the upcoming election, but I really wonder if the NRA will increase and keep the dues higher. I've got to think it will deter new members and those looking to upgrade their membership level next year. Is this just a ploy to make people cough up their money now? Regardless, I'm planning to up my membership from Endowment to Benefactor for $250. They do need the money and we need their help to fight for our 2A rights.

^^ Thats what I am thinking. They want a bump in money now then they will run specials next year where you can join for the same as now.

You realize that the membership dues are just that, membership dues. The only way to be sure that your $ are going to fight for your rights is to contribute to the Institute for Legislative Action, a division of the NRA.

Can anyone definitively confirm there's an active Life Membership deal for $500 going on right now? I've read that if you're on EPL, you can call the membership line and ask them to apply your EPL balance to the active promo.

If it goes up, so be it. What doesn't?

Indeed, after 20 years, a price adjustment is way overdue. What hasn't gone up exponentially since 1995?

I don't mind an increase in the least. I'm just glad to support a great organization that is helping insure our Constitutional rights.

The NRA confirmed to me on the phone that they are currently doing a $500 upgrade across the board to Life Member. Sounds like others have received even better deals. However no one seems to know how an EPL can convert and they gave me another number to call during office hours. So it sounds like if you're a regular member and want to go Life, now's the time.
