Sure. It should probably be sometime in the middle of May.
I'm between Fort Smith and Fayetteville.
I'm also a member of the Old Fort Gun Club and can take nonmembers on one free visit to the club.
The one free visit applies to only people who live 50 miles or less from Fort Smith.
If you live 50 miles or more, you get unlimited free visits.
Or, we could go somewhere else, if you like.

I'm pretty easy myself. My only problem would be a range for us to shoot on. As far as a day goes...any day will work.
Is anybody going to gun show in Ft.Smith this weekend? I useually go just to take in the sights and drool a lot.

Depends on what we want to do.
If just handguns, then Sturms in Springdale or Ozark Sportsman in Tontitown would be good, indoor ranges that would cost a little cash to use.
If we want to really add rifles into the mix, the Old Fort Gun Club down here in Fort Smith does have a 300 yard rifle range. And Sundays would be best, as Saturdays are when all the organized club activities happen at OFGC.

I know about the indoor rifle ranges at both Sturms and Tontitown, but I just don't like shooting down a 100 yard pipe at Sturms or only 35 yards at Tontitown.

There is a free public 100 yard rifle/pistol range outside of Rogers, near War Eagle Mill, I forget the highway- 12 maybe? Been there several several times, and it is a good range. The only problem with it is that the target stands at 25 yard intervals, long way for pistols. If there are other people wishing to shoot pistols its not uncommon for prople to walk up to the stands and shoot from a closer distance. The park rangers practice this way- after the range has been called cold, of course.
Really not a bad range at all, especially for the price. I was told that the trap will withstand .50bmg fire. And the firing line is covered as well.

I've got good family friends who are actually more like family than friends who have a lake cabin not more than two miles from that range.

Easy to remember 303 in conjunction with a range.
