If you have the disposable income to spare I hope you'll reconsider. The more SAFE act compliant rifles that are in the hands of New Yorkers helps you guys even more in legal challenges. It lets you say that these are rifles in common use, and the SAFE act only bans cosmetic features, while not changing the rifle's functionality one bit. While I'm glad that someone's figured out an option for people trying to follow the law to the letter, I certainly won't be lining up to buy one of these.
Yes, thumbhole stocks are now illegal on evil rifles
NY politicians are at war with ergonomics. Anything that makes the rifle comfortable to hold must be banned. No doubt soon anything that allows you to hold the rifle at all will be banned. How times change, didn't thumbhole stocks used to make evil rifles nice
That is an excellent point, for sure.More options. Exile Machine has consulted with the NY State Police via attorney's in NY, and they have some NY SAFE act compliant configurations you can do yourself using their Hammerhead stock adapter. The page lists in detail what's needed to be SAFE act compliant. Here are their images:

Since the "pro" 2nd amendment NY state police helped write the law and the law is for them which a Democrat senator said on the NY assembly floor I guess they should have this infoMore options. Suppose your own state had highly restrictive laws... would you just up and move? Probably not. And even if you would, most other people have families or work in the states they reside in... even the ones with less-than-ideal rules.Or better yet, move to a free state
I'm done telling NYers to move, they will do what they want, regardless, and it just makes them complain. Personally, I'd prefer they and (everyone else) either a) move out if you truly feel you have no voice and can't effect change, or b) stay and be darn sure you're supplying money and manpower to the effort before complaining how bad things are. If it was widely known the vast majority of NY gunowners were doing one of those two things, we'd have nothing but admiration. Yes, people in Free states have it easier and don't need to fight so hard, but that's why you NYers are working to make yours a Free state in the first place.
I like the one with the shoulder thing that goes up WAY better. I am sure it costs WAY more.Get one of these. It was desined by a NYS Trooper and brought down to Albany to get a verbal OK. So far its 100% leagle and less then 25.00 bucks.

As far as all the guys saying just move and run away. Get a life. Apparently you don't have one that you want to fight for, where you and your family have lived for generations and have alot invested in with jobs, property, friends ect. It's easy to post BS. Show me where you ran from because of a gun law and where you settled.
