Just received my 1959 1st year Nylon 66 .22 rimfire Remington rifle (top)
This makes three. The others are a pristine 1973 in unfired condition (mid), and a 1969 that is a regular shooter (bottom). My all time favorite plinkers. One of the finest rimfire semis yet.
Cool. A LGD just auctioned a Seneca Green Nylon 66 and it only brought about $350. I would have bid on it but for having just got a Mohawk Brown one last month.
When I was a kid my uncle had a black one. I'll never forget the day he gave me a sock full of 22 LR and told me to go to the trash pit and have fun. I located and purchased a brown one of my own several years ago.
