I don't think of buying a gun as being spiteful to the President Elect. I think of it as spreading money - wealth - around in an effort to stimulate the economy.
Be patriotic, buy a gun. And holster and reloading dies and such. Ladies and gentlemen, we must get the economy moving again - and the best way to do that is get money moving in commerce. Don't just buy something willy-nilly, put some thought and concern into this.
So, Mr. President Elect, we aren't lacking any faith in your intentions; we are just working on getting everyone working again. (We need a smiley for 'looking sincere and honest'.)
Did any of that sound believable?

they can sure afford subsidize the gun industry (which has a volume of 2 billion a yr, compared to that 700 billion just spent)

Hamm is a perfect example of the problem with the direction this country is headed. The communists let you know how much you can have! I'm tired of bleeding heart liberals from big cities telling the rest of the country what they need and don't need. If you don't want to own a gun, then fine, DON'T! However, don't tell me that I can't.
You want the crime rate to go down?? Quit treating our borders as a revolving door, keep jobs in the U.S. and get back to good ol' fashioned child rearing and God fearing. Oh, by the way, when the SHTF I bet Hamm will be the first one running to one of us (more than enoughs) for protection. What a joke!

The people who want to ban guns have arsenals at their disposal. Obama has an army to protect him. So do the Brady's so does Feinstein. Mayors, and politicians are very well protected. It is the common folk, who don't comman armies ore metro police forces that are left vulnerable. Do they think we don't get that. I mean, if I have 12,000 armed guards assigned to protect my family and I, what do I have to lose by banning the commoners guns. Nothing. Maybe these people would feel differently if they were not in gated communities with armored vehicles and armed guards.
Makes me mad. Try living in the average Joe's shoes and facing badguys every day. Maybe then they would see it differently.
