Be careful not to devalue your iron sights by getting too much scope. Picture this...your in the deer woods at 20 til daybreak and the buck of a lifetime is 30 yds away. Your scope is fogged up, and you can't see him because he's blending in due to the lighting and such. With a small objective scope, you use those high rise rings as intended and you can easily make the shot by using iron sights under the scope.
