Obnoxious Dogs ?

Well...The same old ugly problem is happening again. I can't remember how many different times I have had trouble with neighbors who let their dogs run free. I now have a neighbor that has already had two of his dogs shot(one killed). His dogs have fought with another neighbors dogs and which resulted in dogs going to the vet. Now they are barking and growling at me as I walk my leashed dogs on the road in our private subdivision. They are also coming in my yard and trying to attack my feneced in dogs. My neighbors dogs are two large German Sheperds. With two dogs already shot (not by me) you would think he would keep them at home. This neighbor has an arrogant attitude and without being accusing he is from Texas and likes to have his way. What would you do ??? In the past law enforcement has done nothing (no leash laws).

Report him to police, animal control, homeowner's association - anyone who will take report to get a paper trail started. Have a talk with him and help him understand the consequences.

what i would do is NOT high road, so i will just say "consult a lawyer and find out just what you can do to legally pursue this matter to the full extent of the law"

oh boy another dog thread the mods for what ever reason seem to hate them.

I agree no point at putting yourself at risk I would continue to call police and animal control try to get it on video. Look into an electric fence not so much to keep your animals in but to keep theirs out.

Do not walk your dogs near the house in question but by all means walk your cat by every time!

About a month ago, the Staff debated whether to close dog threads on sight. Dog threads quickly become dog killing threads. Then pet killing threads. Then cat killing threads. Finally the bloodlust and PETA accusations begin, and the threads turn to an uncontrolled accusatory mess that is ripe for banning over bait.

This thread is about two German Shepherds running amuck through a neighborhood. It is not about guns.
