So I went with an olive green pack for several reasons:
1. Doesn't attract as much heat
2. All my camera parts are black so they don't get lost in my green pack. (bought it primarily for my photographic gear)
3. And shamefully, I admit I went with it because it's tactical, since black stands out in a natural environment.
Then I got to thinking, what in heck are the chances I'm going to get in a gunfight in the woods?!?! My tacticality is getting ahead of itself here. The green pack stands out in urban environments since it looks too...military.
What are your thoughts on OD packs for those of us who stay in urban environments? I know black is no longer the color du jour, but I'm having second thoughts about my au natural olive pack.
(I know a bunch of people are going to come in saying that if I were truly tactical and had more training, I can win gunfights with a navy blue Jansport $30 school backpack like them)
