Hello everyone!
New to the THR, and I need some help placing and identifying a beat up Remington 870 Wingmaster that I recently obtained. I've read that, before Remington came out with the police magnum, the company offered modified wingmasters for LE use, but this one is not marked riot or police. It does have what looks like a factory magazine extension and 20 inch barrel. Walnut stocks, "corn cob" fore stock, factory recoil pad and sling studs. Serial is V668XXXV. Stamped on the receiver is Remington with the target icon and Wingmaster Model 870. It is 12 ga (2 3/4s only). Very smooth action, metal trigger group. The store I bought it from told me it was an old police trade in, said the extension was factory, looks very similar to "police magnum" 870s posted on that forum and others. But shouldn't it be marked with police or riot?
Any help would be appreciated!!!
Thanks to all.
