Odd-ball question

Had a customer come in today, looking for a Springfield Armory M6 Scout.

For those unaware, it's a shotgun/rifle over/under, with a .410 shotgun and a .22 LR or .22 hornet rifle, to be used by backpackers and the like.

Damn things sell for more used than they ever did new!


I can't find anything like that in the price range he's looking for. He wants one that's cheap to shoot, but also cheap to buy. Savage 24's run $600+ new, and it's still going to be in more expensive rifle rounds.

Anyone know if there is still a cheaper one made, and who makes it?

I just found the Remington Spartan remake, so hopefully that will work.

Any other suggestions for a combo?

maybe just look around. still a few m6 floatin around. im sure glad i got mine new several years ago. run me like 200 nib. man the price has gone up since they discontinued it. it takes some getting used to but they are worth it. i love mine
