Officer involved shootout with crazed criminal, officer lives

Wow, in the first video, the officer fired much sooner than Dinkheller, but missed a stationary, standing target with his first three shots. Then proceeded to miss him with several more as the guy stood out in the open.

As with Dinkheller, the bad guy isn't disallowed from approaching the officer. Coffel doesn't manage to hit the suspect until the suspect walks up on the officer where upon Coffel finally hits the man 3 times in the chest. Coffel is especially lucky given his inability to hit the suspect as the guy never fired a shot at him.

It looked like a suicide by cop. The suspect repeatedly goes through the motions of working his gun, shouldering, and aiming, but never fires. Realizing the officer isn't going to hit him at range, the suspect is forced to move closer so that the officer will finally hit him.

In the second video, officers with shotguns were still unable to hit the suspect with shotguns! The first officer doesn't even seem to care about hitting the suspect as he states that he wanted the suspect to know what it feels like to have buckshot fly by him. Not good.

Use of firearms tends to be much more productive if you actually hit your opponent.

It is easier said than done when the bullets are flying but statistically if you expose yourself to fire and aim carefully to hit your assailant the first time then the odds of you surviving are much better.

... definitely a suicide.

And the comment is another argument to get rid
of nowadays "news" commentators.

Cop is simple minded, bad shot AND lucky
to be able to give that interview.

Do the not have shotugns in the police cars in Kali?
