They might be able to limit it, and make a lot of politicians lose their job. That might even be enough to stop it.

That's not true. They tried to keep this guy from getting elected, and they're attacking anti-gun officials.

Why isn't there a television campaign out there informing the public about some of the actual facts, like the one in Canada?

That would take a lot of money.

I believe there is considerable confusion going on here about what Bill actually said. Perhaps the OP can correct me if I'm wrong - but it appears to me the frist two sentences are quoting Clinton. The latter paragraph seems to be an editorial explanation about the communitarian movement. Right?

I'm not for a moment defending Bubba. But I think it's important to realize he is not dumb enough to lay out there so candidly.

Clinton has to keep trying to remain relevant in the eyes of the public for he knows in his heart he failed. Take some solace in the fact that there will NEVER be an aircraft carrier named: "USS William Jefferson Clinton".


Think about it. Clinton is one of the very few US presidents that does not have a Navy ship named in his honor.....nor will he ever. That MEANS something signifigant. He is NOT respected.
Hell, even Jimmy Carter has a submarine named after him.

Actually, I read there was some dis-agreement among those in charge of such things as naming Navy ships....that SOME wanted to stop naming carriers after former presidents and tried to get the Navies newest class of carrier named: "USS America" (II) or "USS NYC". Both rejected....CVN-78 will be named after Ford. (USS Gerald R. Ford).

CVN-78 has not yet been launched, I think. Anyway....I've gotten of topic, appologies!

BTT.....Clinton FAVORS gun control because his hollywood friends favor it....he does not want to alienate them.....just like during his presidency....hollywood for the most part.....approved of his shennanigans with ML!
