Ohio-single six needs reblued

Hey gang, I am hoping someone could help me locate a reputable person in the central ohio area (columbus, dublin, delaware etc.) to reblue my 1959 ruger single six. I have spoken to a couple of gun stores locally but, am unable to get clear and precise feedback. Said they would have to "send it out" to someone else. Also, what is a fair price for someone to charge for this? As always, thanx again.

One good option available is to contact Ruger directly. Their reconditioning services, including re-bluing, are excellent and fairly priced.

A while ago at a local place up in Delaware Co. (I live in east Columbus), I asked about re-blue and some internal work for an old Colt revolver I have. They gave me a card to a guy at Blackwing and said he was a good person to talk to. I trust you've heard of Blackwing since it sounds like you live up north.

The number's (740)-363-7555 - that's Blackwing Shooting Center, not anyone's personal phone number. The guy's name on the card is W. Kevin Wardle (professional gunsmith). Maybe you could give him a call - I have yet to actually make use of this card, so I can't comment on his services or pricing. I think they have that info on their site.
