More good news for Ohio gun owners.

OFCC's appeal of our loss in the Clyde Case has been successful!

In a very straightforward decision, the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals ruled that, "due to the passage of H.B. 347, we reverse and instruct the trial court to enter summary judgment in favor of appellants" on Friday, April 13, 2007.

That's nice. You presumably know what you're talking about and you think it's good so I'm happy for you.

Good news indeed. Now when I travel to Ohio due to HB347 I:

1: No longer have to pull over, unholster my pistol and strap it to my thigh so it is plain site.

2: Don't have to look up laws and restrictions in every local municipalilty I go to or drive through.

That really is good news. Ohioans certainly need some good political news. When I lived there 20 years ago, Ohio had average taxes. Now it's among the four worst states, competing with the likes of Vermont and Minnesota. And the taxes were passed by "Republicans".

HUGE kudos and thanks go out to Attorney Ken Hanson, legislative chair for Buckeye Firearms Association, for all his tireless work that he put into this win in the name of OFCC. They must have inadverently forgotten to mention and thank the attorneys who worked hard for 3 years on this case in their article. :(

You done good Ken!:D
