I need something cleared up. My friend, who would have you think he knows a lot about cars, just told me that once you put synthetic oil in an engine you can only use synthetic oil from then on out... ?

is this true?

sorry it's not gun related, but I suppose all the glock owners out there who use Mobil-1 might be stuck with the stuff

;)

it get's real cold here in the winter and I figured having synthetic in the crankcase couldn't hurt, now the semester is over and the money is tight, Pennzoil for the summer, Mobil-1 for the winter... maybe I'm just crazy.

I put Miltec in my car too... :scrutiny: :D

I've heard you should stick with one or the other, but switching back and forth isn't a problem. I don't know, but I've switched a couple of times in my truck. It's a lifted Blazer with mud tires and a 350, with just a touch under 200K miles, and it's still running very strong, no engine problems. I'd say it hasn't hurt it.
