Okay... I think Lee is coming out with a new Load Master.

That would be great if they could make one that isn't so hokey.

I'm using a wrench as a counter weight on mine just to get it to cycle properly, and a hair tie to hold the brass feeding tubes together, and had to replace the little square indexing piece after 1-2k rounds, and never even bothered with trying to get thr primers to feed on the press.

I'm not even complaining but can easily see why some guys hate lee progressive presses.

Hope they don't muck up the classic turret series anytime soon though.

I can see that as a possibility. Titan Reloading has the complete LoadMaster presses discounted to $247.49 and just the bare press marked down to $163.99
Guess I will be keeping a watch out.

I’d have to order another if I could get the whole things for 199 ish.

They have their quirks, but if your patient setting them up they work excellent.

That new steel base is being used on the New Value Turret press, New Breech Lock Pro and the newly upgraded Pro1000. A new Load Master has yet to be seen.
I don't have a Facebook Page so I haven't been to the Lee Group on there in a very long time. There just wasn't enough activity to keep bugging my wife to use her account. But I would be interested to hear if someone does belong if there is any buzz about a new press.

The Lee website has instructions for the current (2018 ?) Loadmaster. The 2017 and older Loadmaster instructions are also listed at the bottom of the webpage. I’m guessing there was some minor change to the 2018 model. Maybe it’s a slightly different primer feeder. I understand that the feeder has been upgraded a couple of times already.

I'm a big fan of many of the Lee products and use many of them. I am not a fan of their progressive presses. They will need to make considerable improvements to bring them up to their other products quality.

The LCT has been 4-hole for a long time... maybe always?
Yes it has...I wasn't being very clear.

I should have said"...to the new 4-hole turret press"...referring to the turret press that uses the new base ( also being used with the new 4-hole progressive and updated Pro1000)

I’m keeping an eye out I think it would be

I agree! Love the LCTP & the Auto drum powder measure. But if they make a better affordable progressive I’m going to be screaming Take my money!!

I know I will be buying either a new Value press or the New Breech Lock Pro sometime this year. Still undecided as to which one. For now I'm on hold because the wife is out of work for awhile after just having a knee replacement. So money has tightened up a bit. Though I do believe I'm leaning to the Pro4000 as I believe it will be a little faster press..
