Have a Deutsche Werke Werk Efury Ortgies Patent 7,65 (looks to be 6th model) and need to find a firing pin. Inherited and firing pin has been removed for safety; would like to use it. Is there somewhere I can find one that you know of?

Numrich Arms Co aka e-gunparts.com. They are currently sold out can notify you when they get one.

Those firing pins tend to break and as a result replacements are hard to find. At one time, someone was making them, but I don't now recall who and I have not seen any new ones in years. You will also need the firing pin spring and the firing pin spring guide. Without the latter part, the gun can't be re-assembled or function correctly.

Pull the butt cap off and see if somebody drilled a hole and stuck the missing parts in there for saving. It happens.

It is a handgun and there is no place to store a firing pin. But if you know where the gun was and still have access to the house, you might try looking around the place.

PS. Those firing pins and spring guides are fairly easy to make and I have made them, but at today's gunsmith costs, it might not be feasible. But anyone making one really needs an example to go by.
