Is there anything like this on the market currently? It would definitely speed up single-stage loading.

I doubt if there has been anything like that since the late 1930's when Sharpe's book "Complete Guide To Handloading" came out.

Hey folks,

RCBS and Lyman both make some pretty heavy duty powder measure stands which allow the powder measure to be attached to the stand and the stand firmly attached to the reloading bench. When loading single stage, I can take a block of cases ready to be charged and hold the whole block in one hand while operating the measure handle with my other hand. I just move the block so each case is placed under the measure mouth, cycle the handle, and move on to the next case until I have finished the block.

I am going to try to place a link to the RCBS Uniflow measure sitting on a stand to give an idea of how it sits up and allows block loading:

The picture on the left with the green measure and stand is the setup I mean. I regret the picture is small, and I cannot find a bigger picture. Lyman makes similar products also.

Best wishes,

Hey WNTFW,

Yes, that seems to be the stand RCBS is using these days. My stand is over 40 years old and looks a little different, but I think it is essentially the same.

I don't know if anyone else missed it, but I failed to read the note completely on the picture in the first post. Apparently, that dispenser dropped charges in six cases at a time. That's a new one for me, and it is with some chagrin that I have to admit I did not notice that fact when I first looked at Alabama's picture and note. Getting too old.

Best wishes,
Dave Wile

Yeowy!

That is one heck of a Powder Thrower...

I'd still want to peer into each Shell to see if all looked well though...
