Neighbor gave me a "box-o-junk" and it included a small box of Remington standard velocity .22 ammunition. Box is green and white, with "Remington" written in a red bar across the large "R" logo. It's got a "dupont" trademark, and a "Kleanbore" tardemark on it. Looks like item # 6122. Box is full, and in very good/excellent condition.

I'm not a collector, and will probably sell it at a local gun show next weekend. Any idea on value of this?

Thanks in advance for the insight!

I have several boxes of various .22 ammo in the same and similar type boxes. I looked on Gun Broker and saw several boxes listed and in the $10 to $15 range. No bids on any the day I looked. Decided to keep mine for now but have had people advertise in the local swap and sell mag in the past for old .22 ammo in boxes w/out a barcode as what they wanted. I will try to sell if the ones on GB start to sell at a later date. If nobody wants them I will just shoot them up someday in the future.

A couple of years ago those were $5/box at the Raleigh gun show. Didn't see any takers. I imagine they have some worth to a collector, but I also imagine it's pretty low.

Hey....I remember using those when I was a kid. Does that make me a collectible too? :D
I think I've seen those for as much as $80. to over $100. per brick. $0.49 is what I use to buy them for. That was a half hours pay for me at the grocery store.

First ammo I ever used. Guns were U. S. Springfield M2 and Remington 513T rifled.
