Old Sears 12ga

I have a friend that own's a pawn shop. He called and told me of a Sears single shot shotgun,after looking the gun over,it was in very good and tight condition. It has a 36" barrel, 2 3/4 chamber. I got the gun at,what I hope to be good price, does anyone know anything about these Stevens made shotguns?
