Old Stith scope and bases and rings

I have an old scope that has Stith Bear Cub San Antonio Tx. stamped on scope, the scope has windage and elevation knobs. The rings have intergal bases. The front ring slips over the objective bell and attaches with 3 screws. The rear ring and base attaches to the left side of the reciever with 2 screws. I believe it was on a Rem. Mod. 721 do any of you know anything about these scopes and rings. I think they are 1950 vintage. Al
