I was coming out of the gun store the other day and found myself singing an old rock & roll song.
My son and I had seen a Kahr semi-auto Thompson, complete with 10 round drum magazine in the rack and were talking about it. My son has had the good fortune to have been around full auto firearms (although no Thompsons) for about half his life said, "an original Thompson would be better."
That's when I started singing,
"There's nothing like the real thing baby,
Nothin' like the real thing..."
Any oldies come to mind when you're around guns?
"The Ballad Of Davy Crockett" with muzzle loaders?
"Big Iron" by Marty Robbins while looking at cowboy action guns?
"Shotgun Boogie," by Tennessee Ernie Ford when fondling a nice double barrel?
