Some backstory: This past September my father took a fall (14ft, through a ceiling, head-first onto a concrete floor) and while he is recovering nicely, he has permanently lost the sight in his right eye.
Now he was left-eye dominant to begin with so this doesn't change his shooting that much for handguns, but rifles are a different story. He shot a scoped rifle right-handed with both eyes open, acquiring the target with his naked left eye and sighting through the scope with his right at practically the same time. It worked for him and he proved it everytime he came back with a dead animal to eat.
With the loss of vision in his right eye he obviously cannot do that anymore, so what I need to find is some scope-mount/scope/other mechanism that will allow him to shoot right-handed rifles but sight-in entirely with his left-eye.
Any suggestions?
