One Good Revolver

Nice gun Robert. Can I ask what grips are those and where did you get them?

I'm sure I could live with my 686 but all being equal, I really like the Model 19. Also fancy the Model 27s.

My favorite revolver is my Dan Wesson 22lr on a 357 Mag frame but wouldn't choose it as my only handgun.

4" 686+ Stainless, rubber grips, converted to accept moonclips. I like my Miculek grips for competition, but Hogue rules for retention in adverse conditions.

Colt SAA .45 Colt (blued / 5.5" bbl)

This one is blued, but a 5" heavy barreled Smith .44 mag can be an awfully useful tool.:D

Unfair question!

I'd be tempted to say my old Colt new service 1917 Army in 45 acp, but a 5.5 inch 44 mag vaquero would be more versatile.

I centerfire it would be a S&W K38 Combat Masterpiece (pre1970),

in rimfire it would be a H&R model 999 breakaction in 22lr. Both extremely accurate handguns.
