SP101 in .357 Magnum, but I'm seriously checking out the LCR. I'll probably be buying it if they do bring it out in .357 Magnum.

Another vote for the G26.
I carry one everyday.

The G26 is just as accurate as the bigger 9mm's out to 25 yards. It is very easy to conceal(loose shirt or tucked). A 10 round magazine can be carried, with a G17 magazine as spare.

For me it's the Ruger LCP because these small 380 autos are very easy to always have with you. I keep it in my pocket even around the house. The only time it would be difficult to hide would be if you're wearing a speedo or nothing at all. I also carry a PT145 most of the time but it's not always with me.

Thanx for all the replies, lots of good advice out there. Am leaning towards S&W M&P 40, American made! Like the look @ feel of the Stoeger Cougar plus good price.

I will start out by saying I am a Glock 19 fan. It is what I carry 90% of the time. My back up is the Ruger LCP.

With that said the Glock does not fit everybody’s hand so I would also look at the M&P or the M&P C in the 9 or 40. It fits more folk’s hands and has interchangeable back straps.

I also agree with the S&W 642 or 442 in the revolver line. I am actually a bigger fan of the Ruger SP101 but it is heavier than the Smith and after carrying both for a while it is noticeable.

The Stoeger Cougar is a well made and accurate fire arm for the money. It is a bit heavy but if it fits the hand and the budget it makes a good choise.

Just my thoughts.
