What's the easiest, yet most reliable semi auto to field strip and maintain with one working arm/hand in .380 or better. The other arm and hand have NO function whatsoever. I've seen videos of many but, the CZ 83 seems to be the easiest so far. I would greatly appreciate any input or recommendations ya'll could make.

Much easier than a CZ83 is the Sig P232. Personally I'm not sure I could do a one handed strip of a CZ83, or other Walther PP type takedown.
I have field stripped my Kahr T9 with one hand. Some Kahrs are very easy, some are not.
Beretta 84 is certainly one of the easiest.
Beretta 92, et al., as well.

Beretta. Or buy a Glock, and don't maintain it as often. There are dozens of Utube videos showing how to field strip a Glock with one hand.

The Beretta 92/M9 can be stripped very easily with 1 hand in a matter of about 10 seconds or less. With 2 hands, I can field strip it into it's 5 main parts (frame, slide, barrel, guide rod, and spring) in about 4 to 6 seconds.

However, reassembly with 1 hand may take a bit of dexterity and imagination, with the help of a stationary table, or maybe just your torso or leg.

Hmmm, I may have to go practice that now...

I found the Beretta 92/96 the easiest to field strip with one hand, because you don't need to retract the slide at all. The next easiest I'd done one handed was a Glock G19...but it requires more dexterity

SIG, P239, P229, P226. Slide lock, flip takedown lever, undo slidelock, remove slide from frame. P232 is similar but you pull slide back and up to remove, tougher with only 1 hand.

It'd be pretty tricky still... you have to pull back on the slide a bit while simultaneously pulling down on the slide release lever on both sides. I'd take a SIG or XD before a glock if 1-handed takedown was my priority.

Beretta 92.

You can push the muzzle back with the palm of your hand, and push the button in and rock the rotating pin with the same hand, and slide it right off.

[EDIT= Absolutely ANNOYING editing and music, but he does it right. I'd hit the mute button before you watch unless you like screamo wannabe death metal crap in your ears.

Thanks to all for the input, ideas and links so far. The Beretta 92 does appear to be the easiest so far. Followed very closely by the Glock. As with everything else, this'll be another adventure/learning experience in my life

My Sig p220 could easily be stripped with one hand. I am guessing i could do a glock too only using one mitt.

Now the question should be; Which ones can you put back together with one hand.

That's a different story with some of the mentioned pistols.:banghead:

Both field stripped my Glock 20 and reassembled it, WITH MY WEAK HAND, in less than a minute, on the first attempt. The gauntlet is tossed. Let's see your weapon of choice and challenge of one minute or less!
