One of the Better IDPA Club’s is at MDRC

I wanted to take a moment to thank and brag about my local IDPA Club at Mason Dixon Rifle Club (MDRC) in Morgantown, WV. For the last 2 years, our leaders have improved our IDPA program considerably by increasing the complexity of the stages, new props, more matches, organization, and increasing participation.

I have been blessed to visit several clubs "this side of the Mississippi" for regular and sanctioned matches; however, our monthly matches at MDRC have been just as challenging as the sanctioned matches I’ve participated in. Currently, we have people driving distances of more than 6 hours away to shoot at our matches (if that says something).

Thanks MDRC for all the hard work and I look forward to 2015 season.

I love Morgantown and surrounding areas - so much to do in the mountains and on the rivers. Good college football too! Congrats on the big win from a few years ago.

Not in a negative way. For the most part, all of the leaders and so's are friendly and helpful.

First Saturday of the month. Sorry, IDPA season is done for the year. Will start again in April or May 2015. We would love to have you. Registration is 930, trigger at 10am, Boy Scouts provide lunch at 1130 ($4), and usually done around 230-4 (pending how difficult the match).

Start checking the website in February.
