It's things like mis-reporting the Tyler incident that make the liberal media look so stupid. It also cheapens the sacrifices of the Mark Wilson heroes among us.

Folks -- This and other writings by John Lott are not "news articles." They are commentary. He is a researcher, not a journalist or reporter. Unfortunately, we have become used to mianstream stories being presented with so much bias that they read like commentary.
Fox News does what it can it make its reporting neutral and to have balanced commentary. This is what sets tham apart from the rest (who have biased reporting and one-sided commentary).
We have a long way to go to see true neutral or balanced reporting from the mainstream.
I took the time to email Fox and thank them for letting John Lott have his say. In today's times, it takes a lot of cajones for a news organization to take this kind of stand. Let them know it is appreciated! Let's take a moment to send them a "job well done". Here's their email page -
Having finally read the article I have a couple of questions.
First off, who knew the bad guy had a vest on. Had he not, the hits by Mr. Wilson might of ended the hostility. When I went thru CCW class they preached many times "Two to the COM and 1 to the head". I practice that all the time just in case the bad guy does have on body armor.
Second, if I hear someone outside of my house shooting and see he has a rifle, I'm not only gonna grab my pistol but a rifle as well. No sense taking on a bad guy who has a rifle with a pistol, right?
Overall, its sad to see the good guy lose his life in an attempt to save others. A true hero in my eyes. God bless you Mr. Wilson.
MBS,
What school are you talking about, and has anyone exposed this blatant censorship?
When that honors-fraternity thing (I forgot the three greek letters for it) refuses to install a well-deserved chapter at George Mason University because they canceled the $35,000 speaking engagement by Michael Moooo-re, they said it was because the university was squelching academic freedom.
Now you say there is a school that blocks access to FoxNews website?!
I call "squelching academic freedom!" and something needs to be done about it!
The article was the first time that I read that Wilson heard the noise from his apartment and went to investigate. Wish he would have brought something bigger than a .45 now. I was under the assumption that he head the gunshots while on the street.
