One Suppressor, Multiple Firearms questions

I’ve got a hybrid. Basically because I wanted to suppress a SBR with 15x1 HK threads and there are not a lot of options. I don’t move it’s round nearly as much as advertised. Suppressors get really hot and need time to cool down. Also, it is a PITA lugging all the various mags and accoutrements to the range to shoot a bunch of different guns (and I back my car up to the bench). Adapters and muzzle devices are really expensive, and scarce. You can’t rely upon being able to purchase all but the most common muzzle adapters at any given moment. You need to wait until someone does another run or get lucky. It’s far easier to just set up a dedicated host/can and run with that. Once you have played around with your can a bit, you will probably settle into one host combo anyways.

I tried out my new 9mm silencer on a 10/22. It is effective, not noticeably louder than a dedicated 22LR silencer but, a typical 22LR silencer is 5 or 6 inches long and 1 inch or less in diameter.
My 9mm silencer is a little over 7 inches long and 1.25 inches wide but it weighs around 3 times as much as my GM22.
It boils down to will it work for you?

For me I wouldn't want to screw a full pound and then some of silencer on the end of my 5.56mm. The hybrid46 weighs 17 ounces.
My "rebel alliance" 5.56 silencer is a little shorter, a little thinner and weighs 8oz.

Feed it a steady diet of .22 and watch how heavy it gets as the sprawl builds up inside of it.

I shoot thousands of rounds of cheap Tula each year, but only shoot high quality full plated bullets thru my 9mm cans, because the Tula generates a lot of leading too, and I don’t want to clean it out.
